The Seven Sisters
There are seven Amy Temple cottages all situated on Chapel Lane, St Margaret’s at Cliffe.
Three cottages were built in the 1960’s and an additional cottage was added in the 1990’s
In 2012, the Trustees agreed more accommodation was needed and authorised a project to build three new cottages, which welcomed new residents 2015.
Following the completion of the new build project, the Trustees authorised the complete renovation of the existing four cottages and they were all extended and modernised. Each of the cottages was given a double size bedroom with fitted wardrobes, as well as an extended and fully modernised bathroom, open plan kitchen and french doors leading to an outside terrace.
Now all seven cottages offer spacious and modern living accommodation with high quality fixtures and fittings, as well as off road parking.
Old Cottages 1-3
The first cottages were built in the 1960s
Old Cottage 4
Cottage 4 followed later in the early 1990s
New Cottages 5-7
Cottages 5-7 followed in 2015
Renovation 1-4
Cottages 1-4 were extended and renovated during the period 2016-2020

With patio doors leading to a small outside area, the refurbishments have been well thought out
